Most bands who wear makeup get judged and end up deferring people from coming to their set, especially a band like Motionless in White. In the past year, the band has given people no choice but to listen to them with videos such as, “Immaculate Misconception,” and, “Creatures.” Frontman Chris Cerulli is even featured as one of the cover stars for AP’s warped tour covers.

I’ve seen Motionless in White play twice. Once on the Dead Masquerade tour with Alesana, Get Scared, and Escape the Fate in early 2011 and now again on warped tour. The first time I saw Motionless, I’ll admit I was a bit weirded out by how their vocalist moved and performed creepy actions on the stage while performing. However, upon listening to their cd’s a few months later, I became a huge fan of the band. When I heard they were confirmed for warped tour this year, saying that I was excited was a complete understatement. During their set this year, they managed to make the crowd feel like one of them. They interacted with the fans in a way that I had never seen anyone do before. If you go to a Motionless set, I can promise you that the band and crowd will make you feel like you belong there. The band played fan favorites such as, “Abigail,” “Puppets,” and a few older songs as well as a new one from their upcoming album that’s scheduled to be released in October. The band also has a ton of energy that the crowd is able to feed off of completely. The band is featured on the Monster stage for the entire duration of this year’s warped tour.

Despite Motionless in White’s dark appearance, the members of the band are genuinely thankful to be able to play music for a living. Definitely be on the look out for their new album, Infamous, which drops this October.

You can check out a bunch of photos we got of the band during their warped tour set here.
